Running for Advocacy: Support the Red Ribbon Appeal with Sydney Frontrunners
Sydney Frontrunners, we’re a community that champions inclusion, wellbeing, and social impact through movement. For this World Aids Day, we’re hosting ACON with pride to help end HIV transmission and tackle the stigma that still surrounds it.
Thanks to medical advances, HIV is no longer a death sentence, but stigma remains a serious barrier. It can isolate people living with HIV and discourage others from getting tested or accessing care. That’s why these fundraisers matter.
Your contribution to the Red Ribbon Appeal will help ACON continue its work in preventing new HIV transmissions, tackling HIV stigma and supporting people living with HIV.

Sunday 16th Nov Did you know? Sydney Frontrunners was founded in 1983, right as the AIDS epidemic began to deeply impact our community, and the very same year the first community forums were held to form what would become ACON. This is not a coincidence. Our club's history is deeply connected to the need for safety and support, right as our community was facing one of its hardest challenges. That legacy of community support and activism is in our DNA. We're continuing that tradition today, and we always will for as long as needed. We hope to see you at our run on Saturday the 29th, wearing red to show your support.Share
