Make a difference by volunteering to shake buckets to collect donations at Sydney’s leading theatres.
Shows and venues have long supported World AIDS Day by allowing volunteers to shake buckets and collect donations during their season. It’s a great way to get out, meet people and have fun while helping a good cause.
The donation drive from bucket collections during World AIDS Day is done in partnership between ACON and the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation. Funds collected from bucket collections are distributed to both organisations for their HIV support work.
This year, ACON is coordinating bucket collections at:
• The Australian Ballet's Swan Lake at Sydney Opera House
• Trevor Ashley's The White Mermaid at The Seymour Centre in Chippendal
