ENDING HIV RED RIBBON APPEAL                                      

Fri 29 Nov – Sun 1 Dec | selected locations + online

In the lead up to, and including World AIDS Day, volunteers will be selling red ribbons ($3), wristbands ($5), enamel pins ($5) and diamante pins ($10) at selected locations throughout Sydney. The Red Ribbon Street Appeal will take place on Friday 29 November, Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December. Red Ribbon merchandise can be purchased from businesses displaying Red Ribbon boxes, or donations can be made here.

Red Ribbons will be available throughout the week from ACON Northern Rivers as well as at selected countertops, markets and community events in Nimbin, Casino, Kyogle, Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby. Donations can also be made online here.

7 December – Treatments by the Sea Workshop for people living with HIV and Keynote Speaker, David Crawford, Treatments Officer Positive Life NSW and Dr Chris Bourne, Head of NSW STI Programs Unit at the Centre for Population Health, NSW Health

Red Ribbon merchandise will be available at selected locations across the Blue Mountains, Southern and Far West regions of NSW. Including Katoomba, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Bateman’s Bay, Bega, Broken Hill and Albury-Wodonga. TRIVIA DRAGTACULAR! BROKEN HILL'S WORLD AIDS DAY FUNDRAISER

Fri 29 Nov | Broken Hill Musicians Club

Clinic 9 Broken Hill is working in partnership with the local LGBTIQ Rainbow events group ACON and the Broken Musicians Club to bring you a Specular Trivia and Drag show featuring Shelita Buffet and Julia Bevarne. Win $1000.00 in cash or drinks & prizes.

Cost: $10.00 per person or $80.00 for a team of 10.

What: 'Every Journey Counts’ – Afternoon Tea and Open Clinic
When: Friday 29 November 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Where: Brookong Sexual Health Centre, 7 Yathong St, Wagga Wagga
Event Details: The staff at the Brookong Centre – Sexual Health Service invite you to attend an open clinic at our new premises to show your support and ‘Embrace the Journey’ to raise awareness for World AIDS Awareness Week.


Albury Wodonga

Sell Red Ribbons

Join our army of Red Ribbon volunteers and sell merchandise on the street on Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December (World AIDS Day). There are a variety of shifts and locations available in Sydney and regional and rural NSW.
